Starlight Soak – Spa Stargazing Experience

Step into one of Aotearoa’s most exclusive astro-tourism experiences — a private evening of stargazing in the spa at Ata Rangi Lodge, hosted by Moana Skies.

After being collected from your accommodation, you’ll be welcomed at the lodge and given time to change into swimwear before soaking in the warmth of the spa beneath Kaikōura’s pristine night sky. As you relax, your host will guide you through constellations, planets, and deep sky objects using a high-powered laser pointer, while you enjoy a glass of wine or hot chocolate and a selection of snacks.

Following your spa session, you’ll dry off, change, and take part in a guided telescope experience — getting a close-up look at the wonders above using professional-grade equipment. You’ll then be returned to your accommodation, relaxed and inspired by the night’s celestial journey.
